In our first edition of creative talks with Up Ideas Agency via Instagram Live we answered some questions about different topics such as our seminars, Inbound Marketing, campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. 

Speakers on this creative talk were on the one hand Ana Fajardo, sales manager of the North Region and ANCAR of Up Ideas Agency. On the other hand we had Jeisson Espinel, the director of marketing and advertising of Up Ideas Agency. 

The first question was: how to define the correct platform to promote certain products?

Here we explain that the selection of the platform depends highly on two factors: 

First, analyze your target market and where they are. Secondly, analyze the ability of your company to manage those channels. 

For example, if you are looking at a young profile with particular interest in that niche, you should consider using instagram. Whereas, if you try to create a presence and show your products and services with very good results, Facebook is the appropriate social network to use. Last but not least, LinkedIn is perfect for B2B transactions to create valuable content and mainly make connections. 

Second question asked was how to use Linkedin to get more clients?

Speaking of LinkedIn, it’s a platform oriented towards professional fields and allows you to position personal brands and businesses. In order to do this you need to create a complete, professional and real profile. Additionally, it is very important to network and build connections through content related to your skills and work. 

This social network also recommends some management tips about publications. For example, for each post that focuses on commercials or brand, develop four other posts that talk about other topics such as current affairs or matters of interest. 

Remember that this platform is not to sell directly, but to build relationships with the community. 

Third, which format content generates the most impact on social networks?

One of the most effective and best reception formats is video. Many social media platforms specialize in generating audiovisual content. For instance, Facebook installed a special tab for videos, creating series and playlists. 

However, Youtube is the king of audiovisual content and Instagram has made progress in audiovisual content to offer free tools to facilitate production for their users. 

Another example is TikTok. This social network has positioned itself very quickly thanks to its very short videos with high effectiveness and that is why any brand should include videos in their social media strategies for a greater impact. Currently other platforms are offering the opportunity for brands to generate this type of content in a simple way. 

Some tips we recommend you to follow to be successful with it: the image of the videos should be clear and not pixelated and has a very good audio quality. 

Fourth question was: which one is more recommended, organic content or paid content? 

Both types of content are important because the basic thing is to understand what the objective of each one is. When you create organic content it is directed to an audience that is already following you, has an interest in your company and expects to continue receiving more content about news, valuable information or anything about your brand. 

Paid content is used to introduce yourself to potential audiences that have not yet heard about you. Therefore, depending on the objective, both types are necessary and it is ideal to have that combination. First, define what you want to achieve with each one and from there you focus on that content. 

In the algorithms of many platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, when content is generated, it does not reach your entire audience, therefore using the guidelines can help to increase the range and maximize your visibility and it is a good way to boost your organic publications.  The important thing is that the two go hand in hand to achieve good results.
