For example, you can classify them as customer A, customer B, customer C. Once this is clear the entire strategy is broken down into smaller segments. 

2. Define the product or service for your customer avatar. Look for the compatibility between the needs and interests of your client and with the characteristics and benefits of your product. The communication is focused on the correct channel to transmit a solid valued proposition. 

This does not imply that you change your products, but rather refocus the communication in relation to your customer avatar. If you have a wide portfolio of products, check which one suits the customer types best. 

Planning a digital strategy does not necessarily mean that your service, product, or brand should be consumed digitally. The digital strategy can stand for products by shipment with an e-commerce, consulting topics or driving traffic to your physical store.

We have also identified that many clients want to execute their strategy with a product that they have never sold before or that has a low turnover rate. 

One of our recommendations is to start with the products that you are sure they sell well. Rely on other communication channels and from there you will learn to structure your digital marketing strategy. 

How does your product help your customer to solve their needs easily? Ensure that your proposal is really aligned with their objectives, interests, and meets their expectations. 3. Define Goals, budgets and channels. Once your customer avatar and the product or service is clearly defined, the next step is to define your business and marketing goals. 

When speaking of business objectives we refer to generating sales. When speaking of marketing objectives it refers to the generation of leads or potential customers. This applies to large, medium and small businesses or for startups. 

How much do you want to sell? How much are you willing to invest? What geographic sectors do you want to impact? Are you looking for positioning? Structure your channel very well and identify social networks or platforms for 100% effective communication. 

This step is key to defining your strategy together with the management, administrative or financial area to establish return on investment figures.
